Combo Waterfowl Hunts in Alberta
Central Alberta is the ideal location to hunt ducks and geese. Often ducks and geese feed together, making for some amazing waterfowl hunting. Alberta hunting laws allow us to hunt all species of waterfowl in the morning and evening, unlike other provinces in Canada.
What to Expect When Hunting Geese & Duck in Alberta
The hunting day normally begins with a dry grain field Canada Goose or Specklebelly goose hunt. We ensure prolific, pre-scouted fields and quality gear such as flocked full-body decoys and comfortable blinds. The afternoon hunt will not disappoint, normally taking place in a pea field hunting ducks, it’s always a great time!
Our region allows us to hunt ducks as they make a quick stop at a small pond before hitting the field in the morning. Using AvianX A-frame blinds on the edge of a puddle has produced very successful results and allows hunters to sit in chairs instead of lying down in a layout blind. We often use these blinds in the field hunting geese as well.
The only thing better than a great Alberta duck hunt is a great Alberta combo waterfowl hunt. More often than not, while scouting we find the ducks and geese feed together, allowing for some great mixed bag action. You may just get lucky enough to get your limit of dark geese and ducks in the morning.
Alberta Waterfowl Packages
All-inclusive 3-day hunt:
This package includes 5 hunts. 3 morning hunts and 2 afternoon hunts.
All-inclusive 6-day hunt:
This package includes 10 hunts. 6 morning hunts ( Monday - Saturday) and 4 afternoon hunts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday).
Extra days or half days can be added to either package.
Both hunting packages include:

A deposit is required to hold your dates; the remainder is due August 1. The deposit is non-refundable unless you can find someone else to fill your dates.
Your Hunt Experience
Hunters will arrive at Edmonton international airport where where they will drive the 2 hours to camp. Our camp is located in the heart of our duck and goose hunting area backing onto a major roost, resulting in many hunts taking place only a few miles away. Our hunting area borders the remote Canadian Boreal Forest and our camp is situated within the first grain fields along the central flyway, giving our hunters the first chance at these ducks.
A typical day of waterfowl hunting with us includes a goose hunt in the morning followed by a duck hunt in the afternoon.
If you choose the 3 day all inclusive package you will arrive either Sunday evening and hunt Monday – Wednesday, flying home Wednesday afternoon, or you will arrive Wednesday evening and hunt Thursday – Saturday, flying home Saturday afternoon. If you choose the 6 day package you will arrive Sunday evening and hunt ducks and geese Monday – Saturday, flying home Saturday afternoon.
